Orwell & Lewis May 4th

George Orwell and Wyndham Lewis

This session is being convened by David Goodway (University of Leeds Emeritus) with short presentations on pre-circulated papers from:

  • Robert Colls (De Montfort University), ’How radical was George Orwell?’
  • Paul Edwards (Bath Spa University Emeritus) ‘Wyndham Lewis’s avant-garde radicalism: anarchism to fascism’
  • Alan Munton (University of Exeter), ’George Orwell and Wyndham Lewis: a comparison’

The event is free but places will be limited to 30, so please register if you would like to attend. Even if the event looks full, it may still be worth registering and joining the waiting list in case someone drops out.

This is part of an ongoing series of half-day seminars on the History of Radicalism in the British Isles.
